Hey, Deviants!

Grand Valley Students for a Peaceful Africa needs your artwork that we can sell in an art sale to raise money for Schools For Schools and Invisible Children. These are charities that aim to help the lives of African children by rebuilding the continent from the bottom up- starting with schools. :work:

We were so pleased with last semester's sale; we raised over $240 and that number keeps creeping up thanks to rollovers from the last sale! :w00t: It far exceeded our expectations and we hope to do as well this time too. This school year our group has managed to raise about ten times this amount and it's all thanks to donors.

GVPA is putting on the art sale through January 28, 29, and 30. WE NEED YOUR ART! We are looking for great artists willing to donate some of their art and talents to someone who would otherwise not have the slightest hope of a satisfactory education. 70% of the money we make on the sale will go directly to the Layibi Secondary School in Uganda. The rest goes to funding our group. :gallery:

We are accepting all art: visual arts like paintings, drawing and sketches, sculpture, pottery, photography, and graphic art. The work that you donate does not need to be "A-material." Mess-ups are acceptable as long as they have some artistic value. :hmm:

I will accept your work after you give me permission to print it out at the copy center on print paper.

This is an awesome opportunity to get your work noticed by others and improve the world while you do it. It'd be your good deed for the day.

If you or anyone you know would be interested in donating some your work and talent to improve the lives of underprivileged African school kids, please message me back. I would love to answer any questions you or they may have about the art sale, GVPA, or Schools For Schools.

Thanks a lot for your time,

Hmm, well I've commissioned before with iffy results. But I'd be willing to try something if you'd like. I don't know how the print and payment system works on this site. What's your idea?
(Sorry for the late response!)

Freaky. St. Neri? We go to Armada now because the masses are earlier and not as obtrusive.

Brett Peirce? The name Peirce rings a bell, but I can't think of any "Brett" I knew.

If i am correct. i had your mom as a teacher in 5th grade. that is funny. I also go to church at the same church you guys used to go to. lol. how bizzar.

I am curently going to RHS. I am in her clas for my second year now, but i will have her for 4 years of drawing and 2 years of photot. I thought the candy idea was hers because we had to draw peices of candy with oil pastels at the start of the year.

I agree though the chances of two richmond people finding each other is slim ot none. When did you graduate. Maybe i do know you?
